Trap to ‘maps

Partering with yet-to-be licensed cannabis delivery opertators.

From The Trap to The ‘Maps

In California the hyper-regulation of the cannabis industry has lead many would-be legal operators to resist the treacherous path to state and local compliance. Many choose to continue Trapping and who can blame them? Navigating the laws and regulations to maintain compliance at the retail level requires, at minimum, a “green zone” licensed facility in a commercial rental market priced at $5-$9 per square foot.

Meeting all of the inspections, neighbor notifications, environmental impact requirements just isn’t realistic for many aspiring cannabis entreprenuers. And even less realistic for those who come from communities that have been harmed by the decades-long War on Drugs.

It’s part of our mission at de Circa ‘96 to hold this new legal industry accountable to its past and the OG’s who’ve paved the way for it. We push to colloaborate with the would-be operators that have so-far been excluded from the protection of the legal market and are forced back into the illicit market by means of exclusionary hyper-regulation.

For the last year de Circa ‘96 has been building strategic partnerships with a network of unlicensed delivery retail operators in which we sponsor their branded delivery services to operate compliantly out of our licensed facility. Keep your brand, keep your customer-base, while reaching new market segments by returning to mainstream Weedmaps advertising. Brand owners can focus on what they do best: running their companies, while we deal with the paperwork.
